Test update from our Single Sideband Radio (SSB)

Ok- this is a test to see if we can send Blog updates via SSB email (sailmail). We queue up our emails in the software, and then connect to a series of land radio stations by bouncing radio waves off the ionosphere. The stations are located around the world to form a network- with one located in Friday Harbor in the San Juans where one of the founders has a property.

So if the interwebs, single side band radio and ionosphere are all sympatico at the moment- A blog post may well appear. In the future, once we're dialed in, we hope to be able to send automated position reports as well!

Beam me up Scotty!

  2. Nice work! Cool to read such a well-considered article! If you ever need to merge some documents, here is altomerge.com a really useful tool. Very easy to navigate and use.
