The day is finally here...we are heading to Mexico. Under a time crunch to get the boat ready for our start line Rally. We will be leaving the San Diego Bay today at 11 with 170 other boats in the Baja Ha Ha Rally. Our journey these next 2 days are will be a forecasted smooth sail... too light of winds (only 5 - 10knts) and 2 foot swells. All down winds... Spinnaker flying the whole way. HOPEFULY... We will make 2 stops on our way to Cabo San Lucas. We should be there on 11/6 or 11/7. We will be stopping in Turtle Bay and Bahia Santa Maria.
I just wanted to send a quick note that we will be out of reach for a few weeks but will be updating via the Single Side Band Radio. Hope all is well with everyone and thank you so much for all the emails and good wishes. I can't tell you how much fun it is to get your notes of encouragement for us and the kids.
Love to all.
Heather
Have a great trip! Sounds like it should be smooth sailing (or at least motoring). On Delay stopped in Turtle Bay (for fueling), so the GPS should have tracks and an anchor point for reference. Cheers, Jane
